Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the SaleX Chrome Extension collects, stores, and uses data when you install and use it. SaleX is developed and operated by the SaleX team

1. What Data We Collect

• Email address — read from your SaleX account and displayed in the extension popup to confirm which account is connected.
• Authentication token — your SaleX login token is stored locally in chrome.storage.local to keep you signed in between browser sessions.
• Facebook Group list — when you click "Get List", the extension reads your own group names, URLs, member counts, and privacy settings from your existing Facebook browser session, then saves this list to your SaleX account.
• Scheduled post content — captions and image URLs that you created in the SaleX web app are retrieved by the extension at publish time to fill the Facebook post composer.

2. How We Use This Data

• To authenticate you and maintain your session inside the extension
• To display your Facebook Groups in the extension popup
• To publish your scheduled posts to your selected Facebook Groups at the time you set

Your data is never used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to publishing your scheduled content.

3. How Data Is Stored

All data collected by the extension is stored locally in your browser via chrome.storage.local. This data is only transmitted to our own server (postpilotai.izisoft.io) — never to third parties. You can remove all locally stored data at any time by logging out or uninstalling the extension.

4. Facebook Interaction

The extension operates using your existing Facebook browser session. It does not request Facebook OAuth tokens or store your Facebook credentials. It only interacts with Facebook pages you are already logged into, and only performs actions you have explicitly scheduled in advance.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your data with any third party. The only external communication the extension makes is:

• postpilotai.izisoft.io — our own backend, to sync your group list and retrieve scheduled posts
• Facebook.com — to publish your posts using your own browser session

6. Security

All communication between the extension and our servers uses HTTPS (TLS). Authentication tokens are stored only in chrome.storage.local, not in cookies or localStorage.

7. Your Rights

You can at any time:

• Log out to clear all locally stored extension data
• Uninstall the extension to remove all local data immediately
• Contact us to request deletion of your account data from our servers
